Members of the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit patrolling Dawn Park area, were on wednesday (5 Feb) attracted by the wild aromatic smoke, coming from one of the houses on Riana avenue, before an occupant was handcuffed. A 34-year old male found covered in a cloud of smoke inside the premises at 12h13, was arrested and taken to Dawn Park police station, after Officers found 15x ziplocks and 2x big glass jars containing dagga valued at R2000. He was charged with possession of dagga. The arrested suspect is expected to appear at Vosloorus Magistrate's Court soon.
