On July 21, 2020 (Tuesday) during the night, Sergeant Rashaka along with his night shift crew Constable Maleta and Constable Ndonga while driving along R555 road, they stopped a white Hyundai bakkie with a canopy.

Trying to find out where the driver was heading to since it was already curfew time according to level 3 Disaster Management Act, but the driver was looking suspicious and couldn’t explain as to why he was on the road during that time and when the Police were busy questioning the driver they noticed a big luggage at the back of the bakkie and upon searching they found three (3) big bags full of dagga. They further asked the man where he got dagga. He confidently said to the police "I'm trying to make a living as I am unemployed"

The man was immediately arrested for possession of dagga and for contravention of the disaster management act and he will appear in court soon. The Station Commander Colonel Maoto appreciated his members for being vigilant at all times.
