A SUSPECTED DRUG DEALER NABBED IN THOKOZA

On Monday (23 Sept) patrols in the Thokoza area by the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Drug Enforcement Unit Members, yielded one (1) drug dealer found in possession of narcotics worth R1500 in the streets. The arrest took place around 11:15.

The sharp eye of the Metro Police Officers, spotted the drug dealer by his suspicious actions when they approach and the 35-year old male, found standing next to a house fence on Nkaki street, was frisked. The unit found 6x mandrax tablets and a quarter, 5x ziplocks of dagga valued at R1200 and R445 cash.

He is expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate's Court soon, to answer on charges of possession and dealing in narcotics, he is facing.
