Today (7 June) the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a drug free operation where few apartments in Norkem Park were visited, unannounced.
Officers went into a building on Wewer street just before midday and the 49yr old male occupant found with x17 ziplocks of Crystal Meth, x1 knotted plastic packet of Rock, x23 ziplocks with x5 knotted plastic packet of Khat valued R15500, was immediately arrested.
The suspect who is expected to appear at the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Monday 10 June, was escorted to the Norkem Park police station and charged with possession and dealing in illicit substances.
