African soul artist pulls out a captivating performance

‘Takamia’ (Sizwe Mokoena) a Vosloorus bred African Soul music artist delightfully captivates the audience during his ceremoniously solo music career launch (signed under Ugqozi Records) at ‘Monate Fela’ restaurant in Vosloorus, lesedi Shopping Centre, on June 2, 2019.

Instantly the ‘Rudyment’ band officially opened the stage with a sizzling performance that kept the audience joyful and thereafter reaching their climax point as the lead singer of the band sang a smash- hit song by Amanda Black dubbed ‘Amazulu’.

However another band called ‘Ice-J’ followed suite triggering amusement among the attendees with soulful love songs that also hyped up music appetites in the venue.

Furthermore the artist of the moment ‘Takamia’ exceptionally helmed the show, seamlessly pulling out an emotive life struggle song themed ‘Impi-ieza’ resonating with conquering the adversities of life; he thereafter switched the mood of grief in the arena, to a rather love replenished one with a love song titled ‘Dali nguwe’; he lastly stole the hearts of the audience as he performed a track called ‘Zilambile Lezingane’  the whole venue was abuzz singing along him and demanding more of the song.

When Takamia was interviewed, he said, “I never anticipated that the song ‘Zilambile Lezingane’ would be so much loved by the audience, it served the purpose of my launch as a solo artist, and I appreciate all the people who took their precious time to support the event,” he vividly expressed with a smile.
