AN ALLEGED DRUG DEALER FOUND WITH NARCOTICS PICKED UP THIS MORNING BY THE EMPD DEU MEMBERS



Acting on information received from a concerned member of the community, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit moved into a building in Actonville area and an alleged male drug dealer found half asleep, was handcuffed. On Friday (29 Nov) at 4:40 on Pillay street, a house was raided and the 35-year old male tenant found with 1x ziplock of rock, 12x ziplocks of khat, 3x ziplocks of crystal meth valued at R4000 and R180 cash, was apprehended and narcotics seized, following a thorough search.

The arrested suspect who thought he was in a bad dream on a black Friday, was taken to Actonville police station where charges of possession and dealing in illicit substance, were registered on his behalf. He is expected to appear at the Benoni Magistrate's Court soon.
