AN ALLEGED MANDRAX AND DAGGA DEALER IS NABBED IN WINDMILL PARK

On Friday, 09 August around 7am, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) members confiscated mandrax tablets and dagga from a male suspect at Windmill Park in the Boksburg area. The suspect was immediately handcuffed and detained at Dawn Park police station.

The 28yr old suspected dealer was arrested on Letogo Street in Windmill Park when the DEU members uncovered seven (07) full mandrax, two (02) half and two (02) quarter mandrax tablets as well as dagga weighing 77,2 grams with an estimated street value of R2,000. Cash amounting to R440 was also confiscated from the suspect.

The suspect was charged with possession and dealing in narcotics and is expected to appear in the Vosloorus Magistrate's Court on Monday.
