BMW KATHORUS CLUB at Ubuntu Community Centre

BMW KATHORUS CLUB hosted a Charity Run at Ubuntu Community Centre on Saturday 12th October 2019 at Thokoza, the event was filled with entertainment from the beneficiaries of the centre. The children who go to the centre were equipped with artistic skills such as dancing, music and drama. There was a wonderful music and dance performance by a group called Buhle be Ndalo Musical Group. Lira Marawa also treated everyone with poetry


One of the highlights was when the BMW KHATORUS CLUB Chairman, Mr. Rahiem Mdaka was rendering a speech about the work they do as CLUB.He also took the opportunity to award one of the long-serving member Mr. Search Sambo, with a long service certificate in recognition of his selfless contribution to the club since from day one.

The CLUB donated food parcels and household cleaning materials for Ubuntu community centre.

They have 150 beneficiaries to date, and the services include: support programs for people living with HIV and AIDS, daily meals for children, psychosocial support, and also assist children with home work.

One can say BMW KATHORUS CLUB is for a very good cause. The donations they bring make a huge impact in every organizations and I wish that more people can collaborate with them.” said Mantwa Mofokeng, Program Manager at Ubuntu Centre.

She also mentioned how grateful Ubuntu community centre is to BMW KATHORUS CLUB for being consistent as they visited the centre for the second time.
