The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Members on evening patrols in Nigel and Boksburg areas, apprehended two (2) male drug dealers and narcotics with cash found from the suspects, were confiscated. On Friday (29 Nov) at 18h15 in Nigel area, the EMPD Team approached and body searched a suspicious looking 24-year old, at the Snake Park informal settlement and 9x ziplocks of crystal meth, 1x ziplock of dagga valued at R2900 and R160 cash were seized. The suspect was taken to Nigel police station. At 21h30 in Boksburg area on Du Plessis road, the 39-year old was handcuffed, after Officers uncovered 6x ziplocks of heroin, 10x ziplocks of khat, few empty ziplocks valued at R2000 and R40 cash. He was marched to Boksburg police station. Both suspects were charged with possession and dealing in illicit substance/s. Each will appear at the relevant Magistrate's Court soon.
