On the 07th of December 2019, Daveyton Mall celebrated World AIDS Day.
The management’s main focus was to encourage people to get tested and know their status for free, as we are heading towards the festive days. There was also blood donation,as the event of the day was directed by SANBS and The AURUM INSTITUTE.The event was sponsored by Pick-n-Pay, Absa and Ekasi fashion models.
The Ekasi fashion models walked around the mall and showcase their beautiful walk(cat walks). The event had a great response as people from Daveyton and neighbouring areas came in numbers to witness how the day is unfolding.
Those who tested were given free R29.00 airtime and free water bottles thereafter.
Daveyton Mall was quiet busy on the day.Thne management hopes that the event will grow and reach more people, with a singular intention to help others understand more about what World AIDS day is all about .
