FOUR NABBED BY EMPD DEU FOR POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS IN EDEN PARK AND TOKOZA AREAS

Following saturday (01 Feb) crime prevention operation in Eden Park and Tokoza areas, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Members arrested four (4) male suspects between 13h00 and 15h30 and narcotics, were seized. At 13h05 in Eden Park area at the corner of Adam Kok and Peterson, a suspicious 23 and the 28-years old found idling by the car wash, were body searched by the EMPD DEU Members and few ziplocks containing dagga valued at R600, were confiscated. The pair were taken to Eden Park police station. The EMPD Squad approached two (2) suspicious characters, acting very strange on Sizwe street at 15h20, in Tokoza area. The twosome, who are 27 and 31-years of age were handcuffed, after Officers uncovered 30x ziplocks and 2x big knotted plastics of khat valued at R10 000. The arrested were marched to Tokoza police station. Charges of possession and dealing in illicit substance/s, were levelled against the arrested quartet and they are expected to appear, at the Palmridge Magistrate's Court soon.
