KEMPTON PARK -DAGGA AND WARY ITEMS SEIZED FOLLOWING AN INSTITUTE SEARCH BY THE EMPD AND SAPS

As safety challenges at some of our schools are regularly arising, because of learners bringing illicit substances and unsafe weapons in school yards, today (17 Sept) between 10:00 and 13h00 in Kempton Park area, the EMPD K9, Social Crime Prevention units, Traffic Wardens and members of the SAPS, conducted a school search on request from the organizations management where prohibited items were seized.

The Ekurhuleni West College situated on Pretoria road, was visited by Law Enforcers and classes, students with their backpacks were searched. Police Officers found x3 ziplocks of dagga, x1 rolled dagga (zol), x1 lighters, x2 pair of scissors, x4 boxes of matches and x2 rizlars.

All the items confiscated were sealed and booked in at Kempton Park police station with no incidents and arrests effected.
