NTOKOZO DUBE WINS R150 000 WORTH OF PRIZES AT ALL WHITE GOSPEL TALENT SEARCH

Ntokozo Dube, a 25-years-old soft spoken resident of Daveyton who is gifted with an angelic voice, is a winner of the annual All White Gospel Picnic talent search. The rising star from Emaphupheni section in Daveyton is the new All White Gospel star, and has won prizes that include studio-recording time, a music video and mentorship from industry leaders to the value of R150 000.

The talent search is a precursor to the All White Gospel Picnic, which is a family friendly, outdoor celebration scheduled to take place on 2 November 2019 at Carnival City

The judges had a tough time deciding on the winner, as all contestants brought their A-game and sang their lungs out.The competition is aimed at unearthing raw talent from townships with an aim to afford the winner an opportunity to record a gospel song, shoot a music video and get to share a stage with the gospel industry's top acts. Ntokozo will make a grand appearance and perform her debut single during this year's edition of the annual All White Gospel Picnic set to take place on Saturday, 02 November at Carnival City.

"I believe this was God's perfect plan,  I am glad I took a chance and came to audition. I did not expect to win, but I trusted God to see me through and I gave it all on stage," said the victorious Ntokozo.Head of for the Arts and Culture Division at the City of Ekurhuleni Nontuthuzelo Siphambo said the City is committed to empowering young people in everything they believe they are good at, in all aspects that include artistically, professionally or economically.

The gospel talent search is aimed at empowering youth who are talented musically by providing them with a platform to display their skills.
