On thursday (16 Jan) on Wenden street during a crime prevention operation in Brakpan area, the EMPD K9 unit Members with men's best friend/s, made a turn in one (1) of the popular pub and narcotics were confiscated, in one of the outside rooms.
A 44-year old male Nigerian national found on the premises during an unexpected visit, was handcuffed at 14h00 after Officers and sniffer dogs exposed 198x knotted plastics of nyaope, 19x small and medium knotted plastics of crystal meth, 21x ziplocks and 3x plastic bags of dagga valued at R86800 with R4550 cash. The suspect was charged with possession and dealing in illicit substance/s, at Brakpan police station.
The arrestee is expected to appear in the Brakpan Magistrate's Court soon
