THE REPEATED OFFENDER AND A PEDESTRIAN FOUND WITH NARCOTICS NABBED IN VOSLOORUS

Yesterday (13 Sept) between 7:45 and 10:00 in Vosloorus area, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Members on routine patrol, were stopped by a concerned member of the community armed with an address, about drugs been sold on the streets by youngsters, who are/were supposed to be behind the desk learning.
Officers made a follow up and a house on Naburi street extension 28 was visited where a couple aged 18 and 24 found in the yard, were searched before x8 pieces of the drug Rock valued at R800 and R1170 cash was seized. As EMPD Members were busy with a search, a 29-year old male who came out from the outside toilet joined the club and Officers uncovered x9 ziplocks of Crystal Meth with x1 piece of Rock valued at R2800. On closer inspection, Members noticed that not long (May this year), the same suspect was apprehended for possession of drugs and he paid R4000 (at the Magistrate's Court) admission of guilt, before he was back on the streets.
On the way to the nearest lawful custody with the trio, Officers stopped and searched a suspicious looking pedestrian male, found walking on Mbane street and loose dagga valued at R200 with a Mandrax tablet was exposed, before he tagged along.
All four (4) suspects (males and the female) were booked at Vosloorus police station, for possession and dealing in illicit substances. They are expected to appear in the Vosloorus Magistrate's Court soon.
