“We are privileged to play a part in the planning of weddings, probably one of the most important dates in many people’s lives,” says Amanda Cunningham, The Wedding Expo’s Managing Director. “Our team prides itself on staying on top of wedding trends, ideas and the best vendors in the country to ensure our guests not only have the ease of a one-stop experience, but also so they are exposed to the best the wedding industry in SA has to offer – whatever their wedding dream may be.”

Both weddings and marriage have financial implications, which is why Priya Naicker, Head of Strategic Retail Marketing at Old Mutual Personal Finance has the following advice for couples who are about to tie the knot: “It is vital for couples to start their financial ‘marriage’ equipped with a financial plan that provides stability and protection, as well as scope for excitement and adventure. It’s ideal to partner with a financial adviser who can help you navigate short term financial decisions – like paying for a wedding – with long term goals.”
