Putfontein Saps
On the 20 th Monday at about 10:30am, Members of Putfontein police responded
to a complain of a man lying in the veld of vermulen street between Zwakala
squatter camp and Mayfield ext 6.
On arrival the police found an african male lying face down with multiple stab
wounds at the back of his neck and head.
Paramedics were called to the scene and the man was certified dead.
Not far from the body, a cream white ladies handbag with blood was partially
burnt and there was some blood trails from the street to the veld where the
body was found.
The motive for the killing is unknown.
Police are appealing to the members of the community to assist in locating the family
of the deceased , and to come forward with the information that can lead to
apprehension of the suspect.
