Acting on a tip off from a reliable source, the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Members moved into a house in Katlehong area at 10:30, on Ntanga street and a drug known as khat, was confiscated. The 31-year old male found at the given address with 11x ziplocks of khat valued at R2200 and R190 cash, was handcuffed and taken to Katlehong police station. He is facing charges of possession and dealing in illicit substance. A detained suspect, will appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
