ANC EKURHULENI CAUCUS MESSAGE OF SUPPORT TO MOGALE CITY’S ANC CAUCUS

ANC Ekurhuleni Caucus sent condolences to ANC Caucus in Mogale City local municipality on the passing of its senior member Cllr Patrick Lipudi.

Cllr Lipudi passed away after a short illness at Hellen Joseph Hospital on Sunday, 12 January 2020. Ekurhuleni Caucus received the devastating news with great sadness.A strong character of the ANC Caucus is tested when such period arises.They trust that the ANC Caucus in Mogale City local municipality will remain focus and it will continue to discharge its responsibility of sharply addressing service delivery issues on the ground. As public representatives,They are fully comprehend to the momentous tasks the ANC caucus in every local municipality is assigned to fulfil; it must ensure that it brings change to the lives of all the people.The passing away of the industrious Cllr Lipudi must remind them all their responsibility in addressing the triple challenges which include inequality, poverty and unemployment. These triple challenges continues to confront our communities on daily bases.

Like any other local municipalities in the country, Mogale City local municipality’s core function is to deliver basic service to all. They believe that the City’s caucus will continue to implement its political mandate as defined by its localized manifesto, which is pro-poor centered.

Cllr Lipudi was an extraordinary activist of the ANC, whom ANC deployed in government. He served in various administrative responsivities; an elected member of mayoral committee, Chief Whip in the West Rand municipality and the Speaker of Council before he was elected as the Executive Mayor of Mogale City local municipality in 2017.

ANC Caucus remain inspired by his commitment to the course whom he believed on to as a foot soldier of the glorious movement up until the end. ANC Ekurhuleni wish to extend their gratitude to the family for allowing them to share his life with the rest of community in Gauteng, especially the Mogale City local municipality.
