Yesterday (01 Apr) between 13h00 and 15h00 in Kempton Park area, at the well-ventilated EMPD's Head Office situated corner Long and Margaret, the EMPD appointed seven (7) Superintendents into vacant Chief Superintendent Positions.
The Head of Department Jabulani I. Mapiyeye and his management team deployed the newly appointed four (4) males and three (3) female Commanders with 15 to 26 years of experience, accordingly. Three (3) will be reporting in the East, two (2) in the southern region and two (2), are retained in the Specialized Services Division. All the appointees promoted, are from within the EMPD. They all have been taken through an intensive and rigorous training to enhance their managerial, technical and communication skills, in preparation for their new duties.
Their appointments are with effect, from 01 April 2020.
