A very bright female matriculant currently studying at the Thuto Pele Secondary School from Kagiso, in the Westrand, Omolemo Cincela was awarded a bursary with no query for her marks. This comes after she attended a Women Impact the Outcome Workshop hosted by HR Company Solutions on the 9th of August. The career guidance was held to teach women, how to apply for jobs and how to dress for interviews. Amongst the women that attended the workshop was Omolemo, who luckily scooped herself a bursary to study at a tertiary institution of her choice.
Omolemo said the bursary has changed her plans for the future: "It is a great honour to be awarded the bursary. I am so excited and I can smell the world of success in life."
She had initially planned on further pursuing her studies before getting the bursary but was having doubts on how she would pay the fees and if her parents would be able to afford them.
The Dealer Principal from Consolidated Auto Ford in Boksburg said "we were already looking into funding someone when the Mike Loutfie Foundation approached us"
Omolemo said the bursary has changed her life.
"I am able to see the way forward and it has made me passionate about my school work to study even harder .I would like to thank Consolidated Auto Ford for giving me this opportunity to go further with my studies" concludes Omolemo.
