By: Buzwe Kula

Kuzimisele Primary School, shared a beautiful smile on Thursday 16th of January 2020, after being visited by Mayfield Square in Daveyton to encourage a warm welcome Back to School Drive.

What is more important than looking at your child's smile as he/she goes to school with the endless joy on her face? Mayfield Square has been encouraging and inspiring hope to its community and surroundings. The square dedicated it’s time to help on covering school books for Kuzimisele Primary school learners. This meant a lot to learners as they showed their love through smiles.

Kuzimisele Primary School teachers were delighted by the extra hand Mayfield provided to their learners. This was a success for Mayfield Square to give back to community. The Square sent a message to the learners, wishing them a good year and a good learning environment for learners and teachers.

The Square wish to see every learner having a positive attitude towards their studies, because better education comes with positive outcome. They covered books for learners, from Grade 1 to Grade 3.It wasn’t for the first they took part in helping the school, in previous year they donated school uniform for the learners.

Tania Manjate said. "It is important for each learner to have best years of his or her schooling, we giving back to encourage them to take their education serious so that one day they can have a better and brighter tomorrow." The aim of the Back to School Drive was to also meet parents half-way because not every child is from an advantageous household, but meeting the community half-way is also what drives Mayfield Square to be a devoted, committed shopping centre to its community and surroundings.
