[Johannesburg] 15 August 2019 - More than 10 000 search queries for “Raksha Bandhan” were generated on Google South Africa on Thursday. This, as the full moon festival day of the Hindu lunisolar month of Shravana fell on the 15th of August.In other top Google searches this week: South Africans generated more than 5 000 search queries for Department of Basic Education spokesperson, “Elijah Mhlanga”, on Wednesday after parliament’s portfolio committee on education found his #ReadtoLead tweets, featuring scantily clad women, inappropriate.One image showed a naked woman lying in bed and reading. The caption read:"Let's make reading sexy. Do it as a habit. You can do it every day.
